On 17th July 2021, A free sanitary pad distribution and menstrual hygiene awareness session was held in an underdeveloped basti, a slum area with inadequate hygienic facilities. Some of the women out there had never even heard of a sanitary napkin. The girls and women were first educated about and then, after handing them the sanitary products, they were taught how to use them.
