On 4th July 2021, a Pad Distribution and hygiene awareness camp was conducted at a slum. This slum is near the railway track with continuously trains plying and no roads. The condition of slum is very unhygienic. Throughout the session our volunteers tried to solve their issues regarding periods. They explained them about the importance of maintaining hygiene during periods. Our volunteers also shared several tips regarding how to use pad or even cloths maintaining hygiene, correct disposal of pads. They were also encouraged to use biodegradable pads so that we be environment friendly and reduce carbon footprints. All the queries regarding menstruation were solved by our volunteers with successful implementation of the session.
