"Donate pads, Donate hygiene!" On 7th of July, The Pinkishe Foundation conducted a Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Session and Pad donation drive in the Sector 42, Slum Area. The drive was facilitated by Ms Ruchi Jain, the director of Pink Talk. The Drive went really well. We were amazed to see the kind of awareness these women had already. All of them were very enthusiastic about the whole process of Menstrual hygiene. Some of them even said, “achar kharab ho jata Hain mahawari mein aap agli baar aaoge to sath mein dalenge phir dekhenge Kya hota Hain”. It was really fun to interact with these women and they were all really positive about it. It's high time now that we break the stigma around periods and make this world a more open and better place for the menstruators to live in.
