On the occasion of 75th Independence Day, Pinkishe Foundation was invited by Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Qutub Institutional Area to be the special guest in the flag hoisting ceremony.
The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade is a leading business school of India situated in New Delhi and comes under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
The Institute's social branch 'Koshish' had started a campaign of sanitary pad collection in their campus before the Independence Day and donated the pads collected to Pinkishe Foundation for distribution in rural and slum communities.It is heartening to see young students taking up the cause of Menstrual health and hygiene and understanding the need of normalising periods in our society. Commendable efforts Indeed!!!
Pinkishe Foundation's National General Secretary Ms Shalini Gupta appreciated the efforts of the students and invited them to be the part of Sanitary pads donation drive. Ms Ruchi Jain, Director Pink Talk and Ms Manju Mann, Under Secretary with Government of India and member of Advisory Board Committee in Pinkishe Foundation were also present on this occasion.
