Free Sanitary Pad Donation & Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Workshop

Venue: Gomtinagar Academy, Jaineshwar Mishra Park, Lucknow Date: 17 April 2022

Menstrual hygiene is a necessity for all menstruating women around the world.

A menstrual hygiene awareness session was conducted by our Lucknow branch. The drive was well managed and the session was regarding basic awareness of menstruation and hygiene methods that one must follow during periods. Women and girls were glad to receive this information.

Pads were distributed to all beneficiaries. Our volunteers discussed taboos and myths related to menstruation. These beneficiaries belong to underprivileged areas and work as housemaids.

The program was organized by the Lucknow Branch of Pinkishe Foundation and conducted by Miss. Esshu Awasthi leader Lucknow branch. This session was indeed a great success.
