Menstrual hygiene can protect women from deadly diseases like fungal infection, UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) and pelvic cancer. In this circumstance, Pinkishe foundation is trying to reach out to slums and villages in India spreading the importance of menstrual hygiene and clarifying myths related to periods. With this aim, Pinkishe Foundation took initiative to conduct drives pan India where they educate women on periods and distribute free sanitary pads. One such drive was conducted at Saragaon, Raipur in the state of Chhattisgarh on 1st August, 2021.
