Pinkishe weaves in good intention for the betterment of many lives, sharing the pain and pursuits of the needy. To maintain the societal balance, it is the noble duty of all to stand beside those who are not so privileged. And Pinkishe is doing just that. Be it the floods of Assam or Kerala, our Pinkishe volunteers are always prepared to lend a helping hand.

In 2020, nationwide lockdown due to pandemic covid-19 virus took a toll on the lives of each one of us. As the days passed, stock of essential commodities began to dwindle, scarce were the necessary items. Pinkishe Foundation came as the ‘Messiah’ for many. Sanitary pads were sent and distributed to those in need. This entire effort of saving the souls sailed smoothly mainly because of the fullest support of the Police Department, who became the ‘Sarathy’ and paved the paths for the Pinks to do the needful.

About PadBank

Under this program, members of Pinkishe run PadBank branches across the nation from their homes and other places and our volunteers distribute Sanitary Pads free to the needy girls while enhancing their awareness levels on the subject of Menstrual hygiene. It’s a unique initiative and will hopefully create maximum positive impact on the society.

In the process, awareness sessions are conducted by qualified doctors and our volunteers to enhance their knowledge about importance of menstrual hygiene, usage of sanitary absorbents, correct method of usage and disposal and so on.
