Pinkishe Foundation has been striving to empower women and protect their fundamental human and reproductive rights by increasing their access to safe and hygienic menstrual products and educating them about menstruation. But this isn’t easy for us to carry out on our own.
We have sensitised over two lakh girls and women to menstrual health and hygiene and distributed more than 5 million free sanitary pads. But our work has barely scratched the surface. There is a lot more that they have to do to reach marginalised women in all corners of the country and end period poverty.
We aim to distribute free reusable sanitary pads kits and menstrual education to 5,0000 girls in the next 12 months.
